Drake Residential Treatment CenterThe Drake Residential Treatment Center (DRTC) provides a coed home-like setting located on six acres of wooded land near Detroit Lakes in the beautiful lakes country of northwest Minnesota. It was founded in 2008 and is dedicated to the treatment of young persons, ages 13-18 who are chemically dependent. Treatment is gender and culturally appropriate and gives consideration to the skills, limitations, and needs of young persons at different stages of development and with different levels of medical severity and problem behaviors. The staff at Drake Residential Treatment Center has as their greatest hope that the treatment experience at DRTC will provide the young person and his or her family with a foundation upon which to build a meaningful life.
